SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: Due to the nature of this tour, passengers must be healthy and mobile. In fairness to the other travellers, preferential consideration cannot be extended. Special need facilities will not be available, nor special assistive devices accommodated (e.g. wheelchairs or walkers).
WILLING TO SHARE: We can assist those who would like to share by exchanging phone numbers and city/town only, with other persons wishing to share.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: All taxes, transportation on a private Boeing 737 jet as per the itinerary, commercial flight between Lima and Cusco, all hotel accommodation, special events and excursions as per the itinerary including entrance fees, services of professional staff, all beverages and liquor aboard the private aircraft, meals as per the itinerary, transfers and porterage for one suitcase, gratuities to local guides, drivers and porters and a private train to Machu Picchu.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: The tour price does not include items of a personal nature such as beverages (unless included with the meal), laundry, telephone and internet charges, vaccinations, passports fees, entry visa fees, hotel mini-bar charges, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, personal insurance, transportation between your home and the starting point of the tour; Toronto Ontario Canada. Travel Guild can assist with flight arrangements if required.
RESERVATIONS: are confirmed upon receipt of your payment. Information updates will be sent during the time between your booking and departure. Information material, final documentation and tickets will be sent to you by courier approximately 2 weeks before departure. Space is limited on the Tour - early booking is recommended.
THE TOUR PRICE: is quoted in Canadian dollars and is per person based on two persons sharing a room. For people requiring a single room, the single supplement applies. The deposit of $995 can be made by credit card. Subsequent payments must be made by cheque, bank draft or wire transfer. The second payment is due on January 15th 2013 and the balance payment is due on March 1st. The applicable tour cost as noted in the brochure is subject to change due to changes in exchange rates or other factors beyond our control.
MEALS: Meals will be provided as per itinerary, and indicated by B - Breakfast, L - Lunch, D - Dinner, and IFM - in-flight meals.
BAGGAGE: Baggage allowance is limited to one check-in suitcase and one carry-on bag per person, (for expediency in handling). Gratuities are included for one suitcase per person. A carry on bag will be provided and is the responsibility of the passenger at all times. No responsibility is incurred for loss of, or damage to, tour members' baggage and property by Travel Guild Inc. Baggage insurance is available.
PORTERAGE: Will be provided whenever possible for the check-in suitcase only.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: No refund can be made for unused sightseeing, accommodation, transportation, meals or any other services included in the tour. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance protection. If cancellation is necessary for any reason, the following charges will apply. From time of booking to January 15, $995. January 16 to March 1, 50%. March 2 to departure, 100% (of the brochure price). All refund requests must be made in writing via mail, fax or email and will become effective upon date of receipt.
INSURANCE: Trip cancellation, health and accident insurance coverage is available and more information will be available to you upon registration.
ITINERARY AND FLIGHT CHANGES: Every reasonable effort will be made to operate the tour as planned, however, should any unforeseen event occur that would require the itinerary to be altered, we reserve the right to do so in the best interest and the safety of the group. The operation of all the flights are subject to foreign governments’ approval. In the event that a landing or flyover right can not be obtained by the carrier, at our discretion, alternative arrangements will be made
RESPONSIBILITY: Travel Guild Inc. acts as agent only for the various owners and contractors providing means of transportation and/or other services, and all certificates and other travel documents are subject to any and all of the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied.
The participant agrees that neither Travel Guild Inc., nor its affiliates, officers, employees and tour director/leaders/escorts/hosts/hostesses shall be liable for any damage, delay, inconvenience or loss (including personal injury, death and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act, error or omission of any supplier providing tour services or of any other person, nor can they assume responsibility for losses or additional expense due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, strike, terrorism, war, quarantine, pilferage, theft, monetary crisis, political or social unrest, labour problems, weather disturbances, local law, disease, dangerous situation or any act of God. Travel Guild Inc. assumes no responsibility nor liability for any means of transportation used in the service of the passenger.
Travel Guild Inc. reserves the right to reject any person as a participant should this person impede the operation of the trip, or affect the participation or enjoyment of other participants. To make changes or substitutions in any aspect of the itinerary including sightseeing, meals, meal venues, accommodation, flight times or schedules, aircraft or any other transportation whenever Travel Guild Inc. or the supplier deems it necessary for any reason without prior notice. To change the order of events if necessary. To cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances or lack of sufficient passengers or the unavailability of a suitable aircraft. To substitute a tour director/leader/host if necessary.
The price of the program is based on tariffs and rates in effect in November 2012 and is subject to change. Any tariff, exchange rate or fuel surcharge may be passed on to the participants. It is understood that the air ticket shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and the airline concerned. The airline concerned is not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their plane or conveyance. Travel Guild Inc. does not accept liability for any carrier’s cancellation penalty or change fee incurred by the purchase of a nonrefundable ticket connected with the tour.
HEALTH and DOCUMENTS: It is the responsibility of each individual to make sure they have the required inoculations, (Yellow fever inoculation is mandatory), visas and a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of arrival in each country. Visa applications may be required to be made on-line via the internet or in person by the individual. Passports may be required by Travel Guild to obtain visas.
MAPS: are for demonstration purposes only and may not be to scale nor show the tour routing exactly as per the itinerary. Pictures and diagrams are for illustration purposes only.
PHOTOGRAPHY and VIDEOS: We reserve the right to take photographs and/or videos during the tour for promotional purposes. If you prefer your image not be used, please notify us prior to the tour.
SMOKING: Not allowed on aircraft or coaches.
Travel Guild Inc. is licensed under the Ontario Government Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations; TICO registration #1861832. Funds on deposit are protected by the compensation fund as defined by the Ontario Travel Act 1975.The Ontario Government advises that living standards and practices, provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ outside Ontario.
